The problem
Knowing what's in the kitchen, how much is left and what's about to expire takes more effort than anyone wants to spend, so food gets wasted and groceries get bought twice.
The plan
An inventory that tracks ingredients, quantities, brands and expiration dates on its own. Update it by snapping a receipt, taking a photo, or typing a quick note like “used half the milk”.

How it would work
- Receipts. Scan a grocery receipt and everything on it is added.
- Photos. Take a picture of what you bought.
- Notes. Type things like “finished the eggs” or “bought two cartons of oat milk”.
It keeps each item’s quantity, brand and expiration date, so you know what to use first.
